The Cape Winds Offshore Windfarm project is a windfarm proposed to be built offshore in the Discover Bay area, between Portland and Nelson. It will be a pioneering project for the region, seeking to support the local economy with the creation of new jobs and a new local industry of clean renewable offshore wind energy
